HIGHLIGHT PROJECTS
In-process project stories
A municipal wastewater treatment plant in Kenya was seeking to establish a wastewater treatment plant to generate high-quality effluent in a cost-effective way. The TAYA ECO solution included detailed design, equipment and project supervision. The minimal footprint provided major added value.
A municipal wastewater treatment plant in Brazil needed a retrofit project of anaerobic and facultative basins to generate higher effluent quality in a cost-efficient manner. The TAYA ECO solution offered intensive treatment capabilities of electro-mechanical systems with simplicity and operational benefits. Together, this translated into minimal sludge production and low energy consumption for huge CAPEX and OPEX savings. WFI provided detailed design and construction, core equipment and project supervision.
A municipality in the US needed to upgrade an existing wastewater treatment plant in order to enhance production capacity, while reducing energy consumption and footprint and increasing cost-effectiveness. Our solution comprised 6 TAYA ECO modular units to treat 95% of the existing plant capacity, lowering footprint by 75% (2 acres) and saving $18M over 20 years.
A piggery farmer in Italy needed to answer the regulation requirements for Total Nitrogen (TN) reduction by the EU, while being able to spread the waste product (manure) in the nearby fields, thereby enjoying higher cost-efficiency and saving on OPEX. TAYA’s comprehensive solution ticked all the boxes.
technology combines the intensive treatment capabilities of electro-mechanical systems with the simplicity and operational benefits of extensive systems, translating into minimal sludge production and low energy consumption for cost savings and minimized ecological impact. WFI handled the entire project, from providing design through construction and overseeing performance.
Based on a successful pilot and a proven track record that spans over a decade, a municipal wastewater treatment plant in the USA wanted to utilize the TAYA wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) to generate high effluent quality in a cost efficient manner. The TAYA technology combines the intensive treatment capabilities of electro-mechanical systems with the simplicity and operational benefits of extensive systems, translating into minimal sludge production and low energy consumption for cost savings and minimized ecological impact. WFI handled the entire project, from providing design through construction and overseeing performance.
